We launched at Spring Canyon around 9:15 and trolled between Eden Harbor and Plum Point on both sides of the lake. We caught 2 limits of nice rainbows, 6 fish on the perch pattern Kekeda fly about 18 inches behind a small dodger, 3 on a #9 jointed perch Rapala, and one on a Caddis trolling fly. The flies were tipped with a piece of night crawler and/or corn and trolled on leaded line with 4 colors in the water. The Rapala was flat-lined 100 to 150 feet behind a planer board. Tried apexes and hoochies on downriggers 10 to 30 feet deep and never got a hit on them. Most of the fish were caught on the south side of the lake, within sight of the launch, suspended over at least 100 feet of water, and a couple hit in the middle when crossing the lake. Trolling speed varied from 1.5 to 2.7.
