Three of us put in a long day at Brewster. Colby, Jerry & I boated 5 Sockeye. Yes, there were many lost fish & missed hits too. We were running size 1 or 0 dodgers with pink and or orange hoothies 12-20'' behind. We varied depth on the riggers from 12-50' depending on depth of water. The one Chinook we got to the boat was wild. Colby hooked and fought this brute all on his own! Of course he had plenty of instruction from 2 bossy old guys!! It was the highlight of our day.
Wednesdays storm had cleared the air of smoke. But, the water temp had dropped a couple degrees in the mouth of the Okanogan as well. All the fish were fairly subdued. We did not see near the numbers of fish surfacing today. Hopefully it was just an off day. The fish checker was surprised when we told him we got 5.

Thanks Dawg, I'm hoping it was just an "off" day.
