Finally got camp all set up down here in Astoria and got the kids and wife out for a quick morning trip. Fishing was absolutely fantastic from the get go! We didn't even have lines in the water 2 minutes and we had our fist Buoy-10 season king laying on the deck. We proceeded to hook 3 more fish in the next 10 minutes. After about an hour and a half we had landed our two kings and released several coho before the boys dedided they wanted to go to the beach more than mom and dad wanted to finish their Coho limits.

We started just above the bridge on the Washington side and never needed to change locations. Our bites came using green label herring in natural and dyed blue pulled behind 8" fish flash flashers.

The fish are here now and with every season this year starting a little early I see no reason why this Fall Chinook Season would be any different.

I still have some openings over the next month including this upcoming weekend, also with a team of 4 guides dowm here we can fit people in most days. If interested in booking an Astoria fishing trip give me a call at 208-861-0654
