Rosevelt Rainbows

I fished for bows the last two days below Lincoln and had great success. We fished sandy flats 20-35' down on the rigger with trolling flies and no dodgers. Fished 1.7 mph which is slower for me than usual. Nice to finally complete some limits of rainbow to go with my Kokanee. Landed 21 rainbow in the last two days. Largest was just over 20". It seems to me that these fish move up into the shallower flats during the warm afternoons. Greens seem to be my best colors.

Feel free to contact me if you would like to book a trip. Lake Roosevelt is definitely a great place to fish.

It was good to see you Captain Dave at the "Big Horn" show at Spokane fair grounds today. I look forward to a trip with you when our company gets here. Great visiting with you about fishing Lake Roosevelt. It is obvious that you know this fine fisher. I'm anxious to see what you bring to the show tomorrow.

Nice to see a report from upstream again. Always enjoy your reports, great pics and awesome fish. Will be at Big Horn show today and plan to stop by your booth to introduce myself and say "Hi".

Im having a great time at the show. A lot of folk really love this site. I fished yesterday am to bring a couple back for the show. Landed 1 koke, 1bow, and a walleye before I had to leave. Also managed to loose 4 more kokes because I wasn't paying attention and put on a barb less fly. Old school, Id love to have you on the boat and show you my flies I've been hammering the kokes on. Good Luck out there.

Stopped by the booth yesterday close to 3pm, but neither Mike nor Aaron were there and there were a couple guys commandeering time with whoever was at the booth (might have been you Dave). I lingered for awhile then moved on, had already been at the show for 3hrs and was ready to head home. If I see your boat on the water I'll swing by and say "Hi". ;-)
