Yet another episode in the continuing saga of the voyages of the Tin Guppy.
My buddy Wes and I finally got a day we could head out and rehydrate the boat, it was starting to shrivel up out in the shed. Got down to Porcupine after 7 and headed up river, got our lines in the water around 8 and picked up a decent Small Mouth right off. Caught fish the rest of the day, no really hot bite just kept picking them up here and there. Finished with 15 keeper Walleye, 6 Rainbow and 2 Small mouth plus the monster Crawdad that gave Wes quite a fight. Didn't get any RB of any real size and not many strikes either. Usually we catch more RB than Walleyes so yesterday was a bit of a change up. Mostly trolling bottom bouncers with a wide variety of offerings. My best producer was a perch Kekeda fly but that little number that the Crawfish went after was the overall winner for the day. Relatively new to Walleye fishing and a bit of a slow learner so the rest of you probably already know this but those Walleye are pretty hard on those spendy flies. Will save them for Kokanee and RB in the future and find some cheaper hardware for those Walleye to chew on. Had partial cloud cover most of the day so it wasn't really too hot. Did struggle with the wind from time to time but overall it was a very nice day on the water.

Glad to see you got the boat wet and caught some great eats too. Wow that crawdad looks like a lobster!

Yup
Sounded pretty good, I need to do the same. A guided day would give me a running start with the kings .
