Got out on the water Easter morning about 6am to fish for some springers... quite a few other boats launching.. Hit several holes (not sure of the names) along side several lines of boats. After several hours we saw 1 fish netted and 1 lost. Spoke to many of the fishermen and nobody else seemed to have caught or even hooked into any. It was a beautiful day on the water regardless with good friends to BS with.

Springers definitely off to a slow start this year. Not surprising due to water conditions. Only 500 over Bonnevile so far. Thanks for the report!

Thank you for the report. FYI there is an online weekly fish checker report for the lower Columbia. I was surprised that for the week ending 4/16 the success rate ran from 10% to 20% depending on location. Better than I would have thought. Go all the way to the bottom and there is a chart, go to the right for boat checks. I don't think the link will work but just click around and you will find it.
