6/2/2017 9:35:43 AMNice catch! I am finding that the crappie in that lake are a bit tough to locate at times. But, once you find them, they are usually beautiful fish. The stick-ups, brush piles, and fallen trees around the lake usually cough up a couple here and there. When water is cooler before they spawn, the shallows by the Sons of Norway beach area, and the docks are usually hiding a few, too. The inlet area sometimes holds spawning crappie - but the perch seem to crowd them out. Another place to check is the deep hole in the lake on the east shore, just where the lake turns northeast - about 20 yards from shore. I usually find either perch or crappie in that hole. If the crappie are there, you'll usually catch quite a few. Best of luck!
