Arrived at the lake around 5:00am lines in the water by 5:15am. Started trolling in the middle lake fishing anywhere from 30-40 feet. Took some time to find the school of fish willing to bite but 15 minutes in, double at 30-40 feet. Brought those fish in and put the rods back down consistently hitting fish from 20-50 feet on the wire. Doubles and singles were the norm consistently catching fish all morning. Running the standard gear, Reli Lures Diamond Flash Spinners in Green and 50/50 Silver. Pinky/Purple Beaded spinners and Gods Tooth Kokanee rigs were very productive. 14-16 inch leaders behind Arrow Flash and Dick Nite dodgers. Super dipping Sauce Krill/Anise and Orange corn was all we used! Can't wait to get back out there!

Wishing all Tight Lines!

Nice job again guys! Have they stopped hitting the shorter leaders?

Thanks Josh! Yes, Seemed they liked a slightly longer leader then normal. Usually to years prior, I run 10-12" leaders but seems like this year ever since May, I've been more successful with longer leaders. What ever works!

I also heard someone did really well using 18-24" leaders. It's worth a try when you head out. But 14-16" has been working well for me.

Nice job! Is that a catfish mixed in there? Any story behind it?

Lol yes it is! Standard Kokanee gear, 20 foot setback and 10 feet on the wire. Very, very random.
