11/4/2017 2:10:59 PMAll you have to say is whatcom county, and snaggers, and everyone who has ever targeted salmon in whatcom county knows exactly where you are talking about. When I was going to school at BTC's Fisheries Technology program, we used to land fish for everyone, and wouldn't give them the fish if they were foulhooked. We did this for most of November and December while I was attending, but the professor of the class was contacted by WDFW and was instructed to not let us do that anymore, so since then, it's been a free-for-all. Unfortunate.

11/4/2017 2:32:13 PMSucks to see it i know for sure, the russians and the beggar bums that use this area to live need to go... There was a guy down there with his son who was pretty appalled at one of the guys there cursing and swearing, That's one place my son will not be fishing with me......

11/4/2017 8:32:33 PMThat’s so stupid that they made you guys stop doing that. I have been there the past few days, I’ve seen those same dudes snagging in the bellies and keeping the fish. They snag for sport, sit there and drink all day and brag about it. It’s just too bad to see how people treat the resources our hatcheries try so hard to provide for sports fisherman. But if you are going down to Whatcom Creek, you have to know what you’re waking in to... don’t be surprised if you end up pulling a hook out of your face, or get shoved around. Especially seeing how busy it has been with only a few fish showing up so far, I’m sure it will be shoulder to shoulder in a week or two.
