I went fishing from shore here on Sunday. This was the 4th time I have been here in the last month. I was throwing a weightless watermelon Zoom finesse worm. Once again, I saw tons of small bass (between 3-6 inches) but I didn't see any bass bigger then that. I caught 6 bass, all of them being under 6 inches.

I don't know what happened to all the big bass that people were reporting about a couple of years. Over the last 4 times I have went, I went on a boat once and went fishing from shore 3 times. Each time I have tried something different but each time I haven't been able to catch anything except for small bass.

I think that somebody must have went in there and caught and kept most of the large bass. Hopefully, in a couple of years, this fishery will be back to where it should be, but right now, atleast to me, it seems that the bass population is hurting.

Its been slow there the past couple weeks. I fish from the bank and I've pulled several 5+ pounds out of sequilitchew within the past few months.
