My buddy and i launched out of Seven bays and headed up the Arm; we stopped at various points while working our way up to buoy 1. The water at Ft Spokane is pretty muddy but as you go further upriver it isn't as bad. If you haven't already checked out Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service by NOAA's NWS then do so. You can get accurate readings of Lake Roosevelt's water level so you don't mistakenly go to a launch that is closed. (Ft Spokane) So back to the report. Lake Roosevelt is pretty low and the Arm is at that point where you better be careful or it is going to get expensive fast. The water temp is 45 and the eyes are definitely moving upstream. We had our best luck with a black jig head and avocado red/gold flake grubs, worms and swimbaits, There is a lot of current the further up you go so 1/2 oz. jigs are a must if you want to maintain contact with the bottom. Hint, you do. We tipped our jigs with a chunk of crawler but it really isn't that vital right now. Most of our fish were caught in less than 15 FOW, including a 5-6 lb. eye my buddy Jay caught, but near buoy 1 we caught them in 23-33 FOW. Our total for the day was 49 eyes, 1 trout, and 1 smallie. We kept 17 eyes between 16-21 inches; most of the rest were 13-15 inches but the dinks are definitely moving in. We kept all males and apparently some were very happy to see us. I will be going out on Monday, so with all of this rain it will be interesting to see the river conditions.

Agree with your assessment, drove the launch ramps from Hunters to Kettle Falls Today. The only ramp I saw that Northern section that is ok is KettleFalls. Hunters is muddy, better have 4x4 to launch and only light boats.
Barnaby Beach, Daisy, spoke with the only group on the water From Hunters North and they said Walleye bite was off in the Hunters / Daisy main channel / muddy was the word. Mixed rain and sun most of the day, warming in the afternoon though. Still nice to get out and wet a line- even though shore fishing was a bust.

Ugh... hate the "happy" males this time of year... sounds like the spawn has started! Thanks for the report!
