Launched at Seven Bays, around 6:45am, with my 14 year old son. Headed up the arm up to where it started getting a little sketchy due to current and low water levels. Pitched purple jigs with plastics and had great success. Lost count on numbers, but caught 40-50 by 1pm. We went down to the Blue Creek area and tried bottom bouncing for awhile, before we wrapped it up. Caught them steady bottom bouncing as well, but that's not as fun as pitching jigs. Had to compete with a total of 5 other boats or so, on the entire arm, on Saturday.

I am jealous, so can you launch a 18' wooldridge boat there, I've wanting to fish Roosevelt for a long time.

Here is a good resource for finding open launches on Roosevelt. Right now seven bays is open, I believe.

This URL is good for knowing what their plan is going forward for lake levels

Hope that helps!

I use the NOAA website, regarding "Columbia River above Grand Coulee Dam" hydrograph. Also, my boat is an 18' Alumacraft. There were a lot bigger boats than mine, launching last Saturday. So if you watch this graph and its trending upwards, and above 1227' then one can launch at Seven Bays. That is no guarantee it'll be above 1227' by the end of the day though...
