I had another great day on banks lake targeting walleyes. This will probably be my last trip after walleyes. I'll likely be on the shelf this weekend with family in town, then it will be time to fish the cooling waters of Cda lake again looking for the bigger fish to start moving in to feed.
My wife went with me this time to do some reading and resting. :) I caught 13 walleyes fishing 30-35 feet of water using bottom walkers and smile blades again. Gold blades, and purple blades did the best. The fish weren't as big this time, most were in the 15-16" range. I also managed a nice 18" rainbow and 3 big jumbo perch. Sorry no photos this time but nothing was really photo worthy. There are plenty of wally's out there to be caught right now. Find a drop that levels out around 30 feet and you should be in the fish!

Good luck!

Thanks much for update - will be heading there for a week to enjoy sun(filtered), smoke and the chance to drown a few worms - have you ever
worked the area between electric city and the northup ramp with any results ??

Good to see you can cross over to catch some eyes once in a while. I know it is hard to drag yourself away from catching those toothy critters all of the time. And yes us Cheeseheads do seem to have a knack for catching quality marble eyes.
