The state reported that they stocked 2500 catch-able rainbows in mid March so I thought I would my new license a try. I was marking fish in only one area of the lake basically straight out from the boat launch in the middle of the lake. I was consistently marking fish between 4 and 10 feet deep but could not find any takers. I changed tactics and started trolling my trusty f-4 flatfish but still no takers, I explored around the whole lake but only could mark fish in the one area so I went back and still nothing so I loaded up and went home. Maybe I will wait a month or so and try it again for some of the warm water species that are supposed to be in the lake.
