Lake Chelan is heating up. With the Kokanee moving down lake the Mackinaw are following. I am starting to see fish in small schools on the bottom. I have been fishing plugs and Superfly Flies with a big smile blade. Greens have been working best. The bite has been best in the morning. I have been fishing shallow then moving deeper as day gets longer.
We have been getting fish up to 21.5lbs. It’s going to be a great year.
If you want to come and have a chance to catch a big fish and don’t really want to keep them I can release them to live another day. I believe I am the only one to offer this opportunity. This will help to keep the trophy fishery going for the future.
