Finally got out to my favorite little lake. I love this lake because it is so peaceful and there are no gas powered motors allowed on the lake! (Insert deep breath here). I was looking for the kokanee and did find them. Two set ups were working. ArrowFlash silver and green flasher with a white NTO Scent Spinner with corn at about 21 feet on the rigger picked up half the kokanee. The other two were caught on a Dick Nite silver/clown flasher with a Black NTO Scent spinner and a black and chartreuse hoochie, also using corn. Kokanee on this lake are small. I also picked up a few trout while pursuing the kokanee. Action was pretty good with me only getting out there around 3 and staying till 7. This is a great lake for taking kids out if you want some good consistent trout action. They even put a couple of jumbo's in the lake. Had one on but he got off at the last second. I hope a kid catches it. Tight lines.

One of our favorite lakes in our area for multi-species fishing. We even keep a small electric only boat so we can fish this lake and a couple of others like Trails End. It's especially nice in the warmer months so we don't have to deal with bigger boats on the lake and no skiers and jetskis.

I couldn't agree more. One thing I like about it is it returns you to a slower pace of fishing and the whole experience is so much more relaxing. I fish out of a kayak so when the ski boats and water maggots (aka jet skies) are on the water I have to have my head on a swivel. Much nicer to take a deep breath on a small lake like this.
