Got to the ramp 10th street ramp about 4.30, damn what a zoo it was.
Got to area 9 and lines down by 5.30.
Fish on before 6.30 and after a short fight we netted an 8lb keeper. First king of the year and first on the new boat.
Things were looking up, but in the next several hours all we managed were several shaker blackmouth and a couple of small silvers we threw back.
We were marking at all depths so switched over to targeting coho, thought we had a good one but it turned out to be a 36" dogfish.
Headed back to the ramp at 12.30.
Checker said fish were smaller today and she had only seen one bigger than ours. She was also saying counts were 25% less than yesterday.
