JoAnn, Diesel, and I did a repeat day trip on Whidbey island. Went to Coupeville for the farmers market and lunch. Great lunch looking out over the bay, super low tide. Then we drove down to Bush Point.
The tide was coming in, fast and it was like drifting a river. I used a 1 ounce p-line pink jig and manage two fish, one was the smallest pink I have ever seen. I kept it because the bottom jaw was ripped up and I doubted she would survive.
As we were leaving at 4:30 the fish were starting to turn on, one hour before high tide. Saw a couple silvers caught today as well.
Fun trips on Whidbey island!
