Glenn, JD, and I all decided to take advantage of the forecasted nice weather and launched out of Ft Spokane again. We were chipping ice out of our eyelets for the first three hours; it was supposed be a warmer day but on the water it didn't really feel like it. We spent the day at Casino Flats, Outhouse Flats, and the flat across from Seven bays. It took all day but we ground out a 48 fish limits of eyes. Almost all were between 16 and 21 inches; we had one 15 1/2 inch eye. Slowly dragging jigs was once again the key. Green and chartreuse worked best. The main river vis is 10 ft. and at Casino and the launch the water is no longer muddy but vis is still only about 3 ft.

Mark, what kinda depth are you finding your fish at , especially across from seven bays on the big flat, thanks for the great tip last week about 35 to 40ft, that was exactly the depth that was key.

Walley,
Almost all of our fish were caught in 25-45 FOW. Most of the humps were in 30-35 FOW; some are shallower and some of the fish were caught on the sides of the humps we fished. We put waypoints on every rockpile we see and then just move around a lot looking for active fish; we revisit a lot of the same rockpiles throughout the day.

The walleye whisperer strikes again.... Lol
Looks like they were jumping in the boat, hopefully they do that tomorrow.

Brent - Have you paddled up the Arm to the first island on the left yet? It should be holding fish, especially off the upper end. The same is true of the island a little further up river on the right hand side. There is a nice flat on the upper end that has produced well in the past.

3 guys with electric Rapala lithium ion fillet knives can go through a bunch of eyes pretty quickly; we get a fair amount of practice.
