4/5/2020 12:03:38 PMJust a heads up on the Colville River above the HWY 25 bridge. Last October the river closed for fishing until the first Saturday before Memorial Day 2020. New rule changes swept the river into General Rules and out of the Special Rules section. The rule will revert back to year round fishing status after the next General opener in 2020, when ever that is. I hear reports of people fishing up and down the river at the usual locations between Kettle and Chewelah but so far no one was approached by WDFW. Stay 6 feet away from the fish!
