I took my good friend out for his first trip to Riffe lake. We arrived to the lake about 9 in the morning, there were rain clouds coming but the lake was as smooth as glass when we arrived. We found action right away, using spin n glows, crankbaits, tubes, and Brad's killer cutplugs. Typically I catch silvers with the occasional rainbow in the mix. Today, it was a different story. We caught several nice cutthroat, a couple small silvers, one good one, a lot of dinker king salmon, and one rainbow. I bet we hooked over 20 fish. We kept a few of the smaller ones that got hooked too deep or in the eye. We ended up with two limits. I think that trip ruined my buddy, he had a great time. Lol. Tight lines.
