The new ramp is not "top notch". Ingress and egress is nearly impossible on a busy weekend. It would seem as if the county tried to do too much with too little space. In my over thirty years of boat ramp activity this is the worst designed ramp I have ever launched from. The county should spend some time there and totally revamp the design. Parking is terrible and the dock fishermen seem to have no regard for the boaters designated spaces. Overall I would give this upgrade one star. We would have been better off with the old ramp arrangement with ramps that were in good repair.
Fishing has been fair at best.
