I was on the dock, at the Sons of Norway Camp, at 5:30A.M. I had a limit of planted Rainbow 10"-12" by 7:30 A.M. All fish were caught at the same location adjacent to the dock, in shallow water. All were caught with Power Bait. Two other fishers, on the dock, also caught their limits. I counted over 35 boats on the lake and all appeared to be catching lots of trout. I suppose that after the initial week or two the planted trout will be mostly depleted and fishing will be slow. I did not see any Cormorants this opening day. Last year there were several.
