My buddy and I arrived at the lake at 10:30 and cruised over to the
middle section of the lake where we produced several limits last year in the month of April. We tossed out are anchor and riggged up the old worm and bobber. It took less than a minute and my buddies bobber started dancing.
He had four fish in the boat before I started fishing. I guess next time I will change my line before I get out on the water. In the end he got his limit and I had to settle for only two fish after missing the hot bite.
Other people fishing the lake seemed to be picking up a few fish here and there. The fish were only about ten inches, but we can't complain for our first outing of the year.
