On 7-7-98 my brother, his son, and myself decided to give Mineral lake a try. We had heard a lot of stories about it and wanted in on the fun. We arrived at 5:00 a.m. and was the first boat on the lake. We trolled hard for 5 1/2 hours and caught 1 small (10 in.) rainbow. I was using a silver and red Dick Nite lure with about 18 in. of leader and a set of small pop gear silver in color. With a night crawler on the hook. My brother and nephew were using wedding rings and they each had 1 hit. It was not a real great day of fishing. We were showing lots of fish on the fish finder, but they were not interested in what we had to offer I guess. Maybe another day.. Thanks !!
