Fished late evening Monday. As I arrived an older gentleman was leaving telling me that the fishing had been great an hour earlier but the bite had calmed down a bit. The weather was Washingtonlike rain then wind then some attempt at sun then more rain.
In the first half hour I had 3 hits but landed none. I expected this as I never do well at this lake - but it is close to home so I chose to try again. By the time I left I had caught and released 5 all less than 12 inches in length, all struck as soft as possible but fought nicely for the size. All in all it was a fun evening.
