I went out to Offutt Lake on wednesday evening and had a great 2 hours of fishing.
On the way down the launch I talked to a party of fishermen that had been fishing the lake all day without any luck.
I did not even get out of the boat launch cove before I had my first strike. Boy the fish in this lake like to put a hit on. I ended up limiting within 1 3/4 hours. I had called the resort earlier in the day and was told the fish were biting. If you like to dock fish or need to rent a boat check out the nice people at Offut Lake Resort.
