Follow-up from a trip to Cranberry Lake on 04-23-06. After driving by Erie and Heart lakes this morning 04-30-06 and witnessing major crowds, my wife and I went back to Cranberry Lake. We again went to the middle of the lake, 12 to 14 feet of water, just across from the camp ground entrance. Trolled what I said last week was a triple teaser (my mistake, it was a dick nite) green w/dark green specks on one side, off white on the other, behind about 3 to 4 feet of 3 lb test leader and a small swivel and split shot. We had our limits in 50 minutes. We had several on that spit the hook and even had one double header successfully netting both fish. It was by far the best fishing we have had on a lake in a while. This lake is producing very well with no crowds or pressure. It was so nice to be one of two boats on the whole lake. We started at 11:00 am and were back at the boat launch at noon. Nine were plants, and one was 15 inches. All were RB. Good fishing.
