Well another trout season has begun here in the great Columbia Basin. Usually we go to The sunlakes state parks Park and or Blue lakes. But due to work related issues. we had to stay closer to home in Othello. So thus we ended up spending a few hours at Warden lake. lotsa boaters around and fishing from shore was a nightmare, 200 fisherman per square yard(lol). anyways we did walk around the south end were it shallows up and only the very dedicated fishermen partake in because of the weeds and rocks to conquer. bottomline we all limited out using worms and marshmellows. and one buddy of mine almost landed a 5lb german brown on a rooster tail. but unfortuneatly the Brown hadda diffrent idea and hung him up on the many submerged sagebrushes that pothole lakes provide. So bottomline if ya have a boat and a can of worms a few marshmellows and an afternoon off, enjoy Warden Lake and our great Columbia basin weather. and lastly TAKE A KID FISHING
