Never fished this lake before, and decided to give it a try after work. Got to the lake about 6:30, had the float tube in the water and fishing by 6:45. Have three fish by 7:00. It was calm but overcast, and I only fished the W. end of the lake. No other anglers in boats, but a couple of folks fishing from the (small) launch area. The fish in this lake seem to be very small, the "catchable" size planted by the DFW. They averaged about 8"-9", and as with all my fish, they were all released. I fished until about 8:30, and had good action all evening.
