Im sure this lake is chalk full of big bass, cats, and trout. Problem is at least during this time of year you won't be able to keep any bait on your hook long enough to find out. anything cast out within 30 feet of shore was immediately torn asunder by schools of 3 inch sunfish. I put a number 6 jig through a worm 4 times and before it could sink 10 feet the worm was gone. Even trolling with a double whammy with dual number 6s I actually hooked a couple of these little terrors. how they managed to get their mouths around the hook i'll never know. my friend tried using a spinnerbait and fish the size of his rig were trying to eat it. maybe there's a time of day (we were fishing in the afternoon) where the sunfish arent as active.
