Clear Lake is starting off to another good season. Fishing hits were good on 2 of my favorite hotspots, the white house on the north side of the lake and the shallows to the east side. I personally had a lousey day due to dull hooks and a very rusty fisherman. I had plenty of hits, just 3 catches. Powerbaits 3 ft from bottom were producing limits of bows. Trolling was a bit slow and hazardous for the small boats due to 3-4 large boats seeing how close they could get to you. Please wear a vest if in a small boat, some of these large boats aren't thinking. Good luck and tight lines.
