My dad and I went to Bear Lake to not only know it's location but also to test the fishing. After the longgggggg 15 mile trip up the mountain, we finally arived at the lake. We decided to fish on the east side of the lake with no bites here. We then hiked over to the rock slide and fished there. On the way over, we talked to a guy who landed 2 22" rainbows, and what looked like a 17" Brookie, Beautiful fish! After we arrived to the rock slide, I landed the first 10 inch Bow within 5 minutes. For the next 3 hours, my dad and I unloaded on this lake and caught our limits, releasing every fish caught. No brookies however. I will be back in 2 weeks on the 16th to try for some brookies in my float tube. Tight lines!
