Today, the fishing was very spotty. I went to the lake around 7:30 AM and fished until 10:30. My dad, friend and I started shore fishing from the outlet of the stream. No action here, it seems that the water is very shallow. We decided to walk around to where the large rock slide enters the water, which also had 3 logs in the water here. We began fishing with a worm/power bait combo about 12 feet off the bobber. I only had 3 bites, no hookups. Everyone else had a few bites and no hookups. After an hour abd a half of that nonsense, I switched to a panther marten and started slaying them. I caught 4 in an hour, with about 20 follows. I noted a large, roughly 26 inch trout follow the spinner 4 feet to shore till it made a dart towards the lure, only to see me and release just before taking the bait. All in all, I caught 4 bows averaging 11 inches. Wind/Rain was bad.
