The lake has more than it's fair share of muck and plants on the outer edges. It was a nice temp and should have produced at least some bites but nothing. A big fat zero. Tried several baits and lures, nothing. Saw thousands of little ones, but that will be about 3 years before they are good eatin or even big enough to bite a hook. Cute to look at but frustrating because you know their parents are out there laughing at you.
Maybe later in the year or early morning and not evening would be better.
