I had only about 1.5 hours tonight, but I hit Bitter lake since it's 5 minutes from the house. I must say I had a blast of a time. 5 months ago when I fished this lake it was full of 5" smallies....

Fished Bitter for 3 hours on Sunday. It supposedly got a plant on the previous Tuesday of 2500 fish. Didn't get a hit or see anyone else get anything either.

Before it started to rain the fish were schooling and they were biting I caught 2 in 15 minutes and there would of been more, but the rain started up and everyone pulled a mutiny on me so we all left....

I fished noon to 2pm using a Vibrex #4 from the park. I took my limit, but caught about twenty in that time. Nothing big, but fun to catch something again. The lake has been freshly stocked.

Good for bass in shallow water with spinner baits for bass. Caught several 2 to 4 pounders. Good in spring through the summer.
