Went out to find some smallies today. Water was 40 to 45 degrees most fish were in the 38 to 50 foot range could not get nothing to bite. It was nice just to get out on the water.

I went to sammamish feb.17 to check out the results of a bass tournament.Lots of nice fish caught,but a lot killed.Is there anybody else out there that thinks this is wrong?

Water temps already up to 65 degrees! Thought this was the recipe for success, but only managed one decent smallie and another not picture worthy. Saw lots of baitfish up in the shallows as well.
