First fishing trip to a lake this year/since Nov. acually, first bite, oh ya, only bite, = first fish, 2 lb 9 oz in 2.5 feet of water. Fought good. 46 degree water temp.

I caught many large mouth bass ranging in size from 3 lbs to .5 lbs i also cought a 12 inch trout. i recomend somthing dark colored that will attrack attention. like a blue spinner or flasher

Biggest was a Largie at 1-9 on a spinnerbait in the pads. All the rest were under 10", both largies and smallies on tube, crank, and Jitterbug. 72-73 water temp.
