Botom fishing was good in area 4, but there are hardlay ANY salmon in the area right now. Lots of bait, but no salmon. Give it a few weeks. I think they will be in.

My buddies went for the opener at Sekiu for Halibut and Ling Cods. They only got 1 Halibut, 34# and a few Lings. Not real good fishing.

Greg and I went fishing at Sekiu Sunday. Fishing was OK. We caught 5 Fish between the two of us. Three of them were keepers. we were using herring for bait. Love fishing at Sekui!

fishing was hot in sekiu this year. Pinks were all over and big fat silvers. The fish were only in 35 feet of water. Can't wait to hit it again next year.(pic of my dads fat silver)

Too bad its over! Water temp back to a normal 48 F. Two cloned kings 15+, one marked one not. 1 bonus marked blackmouth for the box. Lots on pinks, but only native coho.
