Met a friend at the boat launch and headed out into the lower river. We both limited in less than an hour with plenty of fish released. What a blast!

Fished slack tide to incoming tide at Langus Park. Saw a few rollers, finally hooked a 4 pound buck around 1pm. Left about 45 minutes later. Happy to have something in the smoker!

I was at Thomas Eddy at day break. Schools of fish were moving up and down the river. I floated eggs in the middle of the schools, I got one bump - no take.

Same story out at Thomas Eddy the past 3 times out. Tons of fish rolling, no fish biting. Anybody have a magic solution?

No luck again on the Snohomish at Thomas Eddy. There were 6 guys there all of us throwing Dick Nites and no one hooked up. Gotta go coach a soccer game now - maybe the fishing will pick up next week...
