Good day out in the water! fished from 6:40am to about 10am , the wind was calm and and not too many boats out there Plus the fish were there and biting(for a bit).

I caught a nice fresh into the lake coho today 10lbs!!!!! caught her with a storm original wiggle wart(shout out to John at John's sporting goods for recommending it) 55' on the wire off of Yarrow point! and all in my little pontoon boat! =)

Saw a lot of fish being caught with in a 1:30 time frame, then the fish scattered. they were catching them with it all. I saw them being caught by jigging/ flashers and hoochies, and I caught mine on a wiggle wart.

I ended up leaving when the bite died down so I could get my fish on Ice!

Nice fish, congrats! When you drop the wiggle wart down are you running a flasher or dodger in front of it or just the crankbait alone?

Nice fish, thanks for adding the pics. I went out and trolled the same area with a dodger/wiggle hoochie and jigged with buzz bombs from 330 to 630 last night and got nothing. Kind of windy but I didn't see anyone else pulling in fish.

I did see a guy land a huge King at the boat launch in Kenmore when I came in.

yeah I went out this morning too but I couldn't find a good school and only saw one boat catch a coho on my way out. will try again next week!

Thanks for posting. This is the first report I've ever heard of anyone catching Coho in Lake Washington! Nice job finding the fish and they were on the bite.

any tips for a couple of lady fisher folk. We have never fished for Salmon. I have some flashers dodgers. but honestly not sure on weight. leader length. I have various lures. but I wondering do people use scent? Is that allowed? or bait? or just lures? I am not finding any specifics searching the rules. I hope you know or someone does.

Hello Heather. will you be fishing from a boat or bank fishing the rivers/Lakes?
and People do use cents I used hearing oil on this occasion.
as for leader length it varies(2-5ft depending on the application) but fluorocarbon always helps. for trolling a wiggle wart like the one in the picture you would just tie it to your leader/mainline and bring it down to depth with a down rigger(the fish will tell you what depth you want)
as for the rules look in here http://wdfw.wa.gov/publications/01818/wdfw01818.pdf Page 82
To MY understanding. cents are okay, baits are okay, lures are okay,
