So finally saw an opportunity Sunday to get the Tin Cup in the water after a long winter hibernation in preparation for our trip over the mountains next weekend! Decided to stay close and fish my home waters since the weather forecast looked extremely favorable in case I ran into any issues on the water.

Launched at Gene Coulon at around 7 am and so far so good with both motors running well- the steering cables seemed tight so worked the motors back and forth until I felt comfortable that it wouldn't give me any trouble. Saw some marks right away by the log booms over by the park in 70 feet of water so figured I'd start my troll there. Had one drive by and that would be it for the rest of the day as Lake WA served me up a huge serving of humble pie today! Threw everything I had at them trying all different depths, speeds, etc... but not another bump!

Did get a chance to cover a lot of water though as I made my way to the mouth of the Cedar then across to the white house, around the point and over by the Allen's residence then back across to Seward Park to finish my recon. One thing I noticed is the areas that usually hold fish were void of marks or schools so fish are pretty scattered still and not schooled up- did see some interesting marks and even may have found our own Loch Ness Nelly! See you on the water!

Nice meeting you on the dock, Barry! We trolled around the same areas without a bump. Gave up after 3 hours. Uni
