Well, went out with my buddy Marv for some early Coho. We left the Everett dock at 4:45 am, pretty dark. We headed strait to the coho grounds, out in the shipping lanes of 8.2. Trolled from about shipwreck/green can out in the middle, north. Because the tide was going out. Started off catching humpys even no we were trolling at Coho speed. It was about 8 or 9 am when my first Ho hit. I was 90 feet down and he poped it off and ran strait for the surface. Rolled a bunch and bull dog it all the way in. Once close to the boat he freaked out a lil bit, but i was lucky to land him.
About a half hour later my next Coho hit. It pretty much acted the same way. Man these fish are way funner to catch than those stupid humpys. My buddy Marv's rod poped off about 10am, he was using a 3inch Coho Fly. He got it to the boat and i netted it for him. It was a nice 6 pound Coho hen.

My Two Coho were caught on a 3.5 inch spladder back green/glow hoochie with a green/glow flasher. My first fish wieghed in at 8 pounds and the next was 5 pounds.

Well this was an awesome day for me and my buddy.

Check out http://www.johnssportinggoods.com/ This is where i got my info. He has a fishing Journal he puts out ever month.

Stay Fresh...................JERM
