Got lines wet at about 0930 after kids got off to school. Fished until 1330. First three hits in the mid 50s and landed two north of shipwreck trolling south. Third coho at 88' on east side of Possesion. Final fish 120' trolling north of shipwreck. Plenty of shakers on purple haze but no coho. All coho caught with green based flashers and green hoochies tipped with salted hearing. Biggest was about 6lbs. Bigger fish are pretty rare right now but hopefully we will seeing some coming in soon. Don't be afraid to go deep as the day progresses. Need to watch for the shakers as there are a lot of them this year and dragging them around won't catch coho... Best of luck to those entering the Everett Derby but my plan is for my daughter and I to take First and Second (haha).

You did better yesterday than we did. We trolled from 7 until 1:30 around the Wreck, into Browns Bay and up to Mulk, 2 rods, same gear and got one, 5 or so. The last 4 times out we limited two rods but not yesterday. Must be between runs. Should pick up with this rain and bigger fish hopefully. I have to go to a wedding or I would have been in the Derby.

Went out again this morning. Got all four north of shipwreck. First one was about 55', then 62', 82' and 88'. Landed a small one we released at 82' also. Lost two hits but landed the rest. Done by 1030. Still all of them on green flashers and green hoochies. One was 6-7lbs (estimated)which is the biggest I caught this year. Have fun at the wedding...
