First time doing Lake Sammamish 2019
Using Gods tooth Spoons
50/50 blue spoon
50/50 gold spoon
Orange Spoon
with or without a dodger.

Super fun day even though we had a flat tire on the way there. But a quick stop at a tire shop fix it in Everett, we were off back on the adventure to Sammamish.

Love the boat launch, parking. Warm day for sure. My buddy and I just slayed the Lake. God's Tooth just was killer there. 2 limits and Troupy size Crappie too. We will be back for sure!

Here our you tube video!!!! Great day!!!

Can you give me some pointers on differentiating coho and kokanee? I think I keep throwing back coho in Lake Sammamish because I am not sure how to recognize each.

Ben,
In Sammamish all Coho you can keep have the adipose fin clipped.

Coho have lots of black in their mouth, Kokanee dont. The chinook in there look similar (black mouth and black gums), but again, chinook and kokanee in Sammamish wont have clipped fins.

Also Kokanee are much more solid chrome looking than coho or chinook and wont have any distinct spotting. Coho have some spotting, Chinook have pronounced spotting.
