First cast a little after 9. Started off with a topwater in the shallows for about 10 mins. As soon as I put that down, I landed my first SMB in about 2 or 3 casts with the dropshot. Caught in about 15' of water. Probably just under a pound but what I noticed was how thick and fat it's belly was. Wonder what it is feeding on.

In the same area, land another SMB @ 2.11# with the dropshot. This was a little bit deeper. Maybe 20-25' or so. Fish was very skinny. 2 fish in about 5 mins with the dropshot. Thought I was onto something. Ha, yeah right. So I started along the same shoreline between the 15-25' depth with the dropshot. Felt nibbles from perch and what looked like bluegills. I did land myself a nice little dinky SMB somewhere in there.

I moved back into the shallows and found fingerlings.

I even checked out the hole I caught 7 fish from last week and it sure wasnt as active. I was able to hookup on my last fishless rod but it jumped at boat side and lost the fish. I had a t-rig tied on. It was probably just a 1# or so. Felt a few light nibbles but that's it there.

Ended the day with another small SMB, probably just under a pound. Headed in by 11:45AM. So hooked onto 5 bass, landed 4. Best at 2.11#. The others, blah. All caught on dropshot. Water was very calm. Wasnt glass smooth but pretty close. I think it needed a bit of wind to stir things up with the bright skies.
