Cold crisp day on the Pilchuck... The river was muddy so I fished eggs.
Didn't have much of any expectations but ended up catching and releasing a really nice Rainbow Trout.

fished the pilchuck today, threw some eggs and a few spoons, the only action was a bullhead chewing on my eggs. no signs of any other fish.

For those who have not heard,the Pilchuck was not planted with Steelhead smolts this year and will be closing on Feb 15. until further notice. Sounds like this may be the end for fishing on this wonde...
