Thermocliine @ 40'. Kokanee concentrated just below thermocline @ 45' and lake trout on the bottom @ 80' (see pic). Best bite early am before jet skis/boats hit the water/lake devoid of fisherman.

Lake trout stacked on bottom 95' deep on drop off near old river channel. Caught several fish 8-12 lbs. This 9lb 10oz hit jig @ 80' that was belly to bottom. Thermocline 65'. Best bite 5-8 am.

Fished several days with lots of fish in 80-100 feet in old river channel drop offs. 34" lake trout coming up with several large fish stacked just below. Water temp 50 F @ 60 feet.

The star rating system is hard to decide on. Went with 3 stars. Caught some fish, but had a REALLY good time. Love fishing in lake Cle Elum! U20 down on the bottom worked for us. Fish hard!

Wow great day out on the lake launching requires a 4x4 and it is shallow so watch your props. Lots of kokes spotted but we fished for mac's. Limited within 2hours, 6 fish between 6 and 9 pounds.
